The International Conference on Energy and Green Computing (ICEGC) focusing on the latest researches, developments, advances and new technologies in the fields of Energy Engineering, Engineering Technologies, IT Energy-aware Technologies, Green ICT Systems and Green Computing. The conference aims to disseminate novel ideas and emerging trends, research results and practical achievements. Original and high quality contributions are solicited, including theories, applications and experiments. The ICEGC is an opportunity to network, build up partnerships and exchange ideas with a variety of experienced researchers, developers and practitioners from several universities, research institutes, and academia.

Prof. Naoual Semlali Aouragh Hassani Mohammadia School of Engineers Mohammed V University of Rabat Morocco Keynote Title Seawater desalination and environmental impacts: Towards innovative and sustainable technologies Short Bio
Prof. Naoual SEMLALI HASSANI is a Professor, since 1992 (32 years of experience), in the Department of Industrial Process Engineering at Mohammadia School of Engineers-Mohammed V University in Rabat. She graduated from this School where she obtained a state engineering degree (1991), a DESS diploma (1996) and a PhD in Applied Engineering Es-sciences (2003), all in Industrial Process Engineering. Currently, she is a head of the "Analysis and Synthesis of Industrial Processes" team and member of "Civil Engineering, Water, Environment, Geoscience" Center, Civil, Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering Laboratory - Hydraulic Systems Analysis Team (EASH) at EMI.
Expert in water desalination technologies (Prize of Best Innovative Techniques for the Environment in France (2008). Its main applied research areas devoted to Industrial Process–Environment Engineering, are focused principally on: ‘Innovation and development of clean processes (green engineering) in particular, innovative hybrid seawater desalination processes combined with renewable energies’; "Modelling, Simulation, Optimization and monitoring of Industrial Processes’; ‘Data Analysis & Planning of experiments", and " Waste valorization and treatment (Municipal Solid Waste, minerals and electrical)". Prof. Naoual SEMLALI is author of several international publications and chapters in indexed scientific journals and works. She is invited speaker’s Conferences and Communications in indexed international and national congresses and colloquia. Coordinator and member of the Organizing Committees and Scientific Committees of several international and national scientific events. Reviewer for International conferences indexed IEEE and Scopus (ICOA, IRASET, ICEGC &WER). She is Vice-President and founding member of Alliance Morocco Innovation and Émergence (AMIE) since 2019. And she is Member of MARSIMER network (Moroccan Network of Sciences and Engineering of the Sea), of SAWIS (Scientific Association for Water Information Systems), of AIEM (Association of Engineering of Mohammadia School) and AMEDD. Also, she is an active member of the Moroccan cultural association MOUNTADA ALMAARIFA. |
Prof. Abdelhadi Raihani ENSET of Mohammedia Hassan II University of Casablanca Morocco Keynote Title Advancements in Energy Sustainability: Harnessing the Power of Artificial Intelligence for Smart Microgrid Design and Distributed Energy Management Systems Short Bio
Prof. Abdelhadi Raihani has held the position of a professor in Electronics Engineering at Hassan II University of Casablanca, ENSET Institute, Mohammedia, Morocco since 1991. He earned his B.S. degree in Applied Electronics from the ENSET Institute in 1991. Subsequently, he pursued advanced studies and obtained a DEA diploma in Signal and Image Processing, with a focus on utilizing parallel architectures for enhancing image processing. He further earned a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies from Hassan II University of Casablanca. His doctoral research focused on advancements in Wind-Photovoltaic Hybrid Mini Power Plants with Storage: innovations in control and energy management.
Prof. Raihani also holds a UH Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies, specializing in Signal and Image Processing for Data Analysis, with a particular emphasis on renewable energies and medical applications, from Hassan II University of Casablanca. Currently serving as a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at ENSET of Mohammedia, Prof. Raihani's extensive research spans diverse domains, including AI-driven signal and medical image processing, electrical engineering, energy management systems, power and energy systems control, and smart grids. He has authored or co-authored over 90 papers in distinguished scientific journals and presented more than 70 papers at international conferences. Prof. Raihani has supervised and delivered over 20 Ph.D. theses. Engaging in national research programs, Prof. Raihani closely collaborated with IRESEN under the grant "Green INNO Project / UPISREE." Additionally, he serves as the head of the research team Electrical Systems, Energy, Control, and Optimization (ESECO) at the Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Systems Laboratory (EEIS Lab). |
Prof. Yassine Kali School of Engineering Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscaminguet Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada Keynote Title Discrete Super-Twisting-Like Algorithm for Multiphase Electric Drives Short Bio
Prof. Yassine Kali was born in Fez, Morocco. He received the Ph.D. degree in robotics and control systems from Ecole Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs, University of Mohammed V, Rabat, Morocco, in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he worked at the GRÉPCI Laboratory of École de Technologie Supérieure (Montreal, Canada) as Research Associate where he was conducting R&D activities mainly in control of autonomous and cyber-physical systems. He also served during this period as Teaching Assistant in nine undergraduate and three graduate courses. Since December 2023, he joined Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (Rouyn-Noranada, Canada) where he is teaching control theory and robotics and bringing the resources and expertise of an interdisciplinary R&D team. His research interests include mechatronics/robotics with emphasis on the design, development, nonlinear and intelligent control of wearable robots, control using biological signals such as electromyogram signals, collaborative robots, humanoids, drones and mobile robots. Prof. Yassine has also an interest to autonomous vehicles and multiphase electric drives. Prof. Yassine Kali authored and co-authored over 70 papers in distinguished Q1 scientific journals and international conferences. He also serves as a regular referee and guest editor for many international journals in the field of control and robotics. In 2017 and 2020, he was member of the Organizing Committees and of two international conferences held in Marrakesh.
