Special session 1: Embedded System and AI for Industry 4.0
Scope
AI and Big Data present many opportunities for the implementation of Industry 4.0. These innovative technologies allow researchers and manufacturers to store a large amount of data in a more secure manner, this data is then attacked by AI techniques in order to bring out ready-to-use models that improve over time. The special session on Embedded System and AI for Industry 4.0 aims to promote research for these emerging technologies, in order to share and exchange experiences, and research results, and to focus mainly on work that deals with System Embedded and AI in the industrial context and mainly the new generation of industry 'industry 4.0'. Our session solicits high-quality articles with new ideas, illustrating new models of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, big data, as well as the possibilities offered by the alliance between AI and Big Data.
This special session is a venue for bringing together multi-disciplinary researchers, professionals and practitioners from both academia and industry, who are engaged in different facets Embedded System and AI for Industry 4.0. Authors are cordially invited to submit original research papers in any aspects of Embedded System & AI with emphasis on but are not limited to the following topics:

Special session 2: COVID-19 Pandemic Related Research Approaches and tools
Scope
The COVID-19 pandemic and its variants continue to spread across the world and cause very heavy damage
that continues to grow. Faced with this uncontrolled situation, governments are forced to apply
restrictive measures or even impose lockdowns in order to limit human losses and reduce the pressure on
health systems. The very heavy economic, social, psychological and political impacts have led to new
problems and very urgent challenges which the community of scientific and technical researchers is more
than ever called upon to study in order to propose contributions and innovations that make it possible
to reduce the negative effects of the pandemic. The purpose of this special session is to highlight the
latest progress in the diagnosis and treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic, provide innovative solutions
and tools based on AI technology, machine learning, robotics and autonomous systems in order to overcome
the challenges generated by the pandemic and improve the living conditions of humanity and assist the
healthcare workers and patients of COVID-19.

Special session 3: Emerging Technologies in Education and Training
Scope
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is actually very present in our normal lives. We are
surrounded by the product and services of this technology from automatic parking systems, smart sensors
for taking spectacular photos to personal assistance. Similarly, in the field of education and training
ICT is being felt more and more and traditional teaching/learning methods are changing dramatically.
Furthermore, rational using and integrating of ICT in classroom practices as in distance
teaching/learning can significantly contribute to a good quality of education and its effectiveness.
In other hand, the emergence of Artificial intelligence AI techniques such as Machine Learning (ML) and
Deep Learning (DL) together with the Internet of Things (IoT) promises to open new advances in the
detection, understanding, and correction of Handicaps and learning disabilities.
The purpose of this special session is to present recent high-quality research on different problems
related to information technology and its applications in intelligent education and training from
primary to higher school.

Scope
Computer vision and pattern recognition are essential areas of artificial intelligence. Research work
has been considerably expanded over the last ten years, and this trend continues especially in computer
vision, pattern recognition, automatic speech recognition, etc. This trend has become a strategic
element in developing methods, control tools and inaccessible data access techniques from images, audio
and video. Indeed, the growth of the population requires the implementation of intelligent systems to
ensure a competitive advantage of cost optimization and the satisfaction of users.
The purpose of this special session is to develop intelligent systems in the field of computer
technologies such as: image processing, shape analysis, graphics recognition, speech recognition, video
processing, etc. In this context, it is necessary to design new algorithms, new methods, new

Special session 6: Smart Grid and Renewable Energy
Scope
To deal with the economic and environmental challenges of the energy systems management, several nations
have set some ambitious targets in terms of their energy policy. Modernization of the electricity grid,
decentralization of electricity production and the integration of renewable energies constitute the main
pillars of this challenge. This session will highlight original research that concerns such issues as
the design, operation, control or implementation of sustainable energy systems and smart grid
infrastructure, clean and renewable energy, power engineering and sustainable transportation systems.
Emphasis will be placed on those issues that concern the technologies and methods that deal with any of
these aspects of smart grids and sustainable energy: demonstrating experimental analysis and design;
control engineering; protection systems; modelling and simulation; computational intelligence;
optimization algorithms; and data analysis.

Biomedical instrumentation and technology are at the forefront of modern healthcare,
providing critical tools for diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment. From cutting-edge wearable
sensors to advanced imaging systems, these innovations are reshaping patient care by
delivering more accurate, real-time data. However, the continued advancement of these

Special session 8: Advanced Control of UAVs
Scope
In the last decades, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been multiplying quickly
across many domains, including items transport, search, rescue, security and surveillance,
infrastructure inspection, remote sensing, etc. In addition, thanks to the development of deep
learning, UAVs are now more intelligent and more capable of conducting difficult tasks in
civil as well as in military contexts. However, due to the underactuated nonlinear uncertain
dynamics, and complexity of the environment, there are still many challenges facing UAV
control approaches. Thus, path planning, navigation, power management, motion control, and
collision avoidance are then still active key research areas.

Special session 9: Advanced Physics, Energy and Embodiment in Physical Systems
Scope
Recent advances in physics, materials science, and engineering increasingly highlight the central role of energy, dissipation, and continuous physical processes in shaping the behavior of complex systems. Beyond domain-specific models, many physical phenomena, from statistical mechanics and thermodynamics to active matter, advanced materials, and manufacturing processes, can be understood through the lens of energetic landscapes and physical constraints governing dynamics, structure, and function.
This special session aims to bring together contributions that address physical systems where energy acts as a unifying organizing principle, whether at a fundamental theoretical level or through its embodiment in real material systems. While some works focus on advanced theoretical frameworks in statistical mechanics and thermodynamics, others investigate active matter, advanced materials, programmable systems, or energy-driven physical processes in engineering and applied contexts. The session does not promote or require the use of a specific theoretical model; instead, it encourages complementary approaches that connect foundational physics with experimental, numerical, or applied studies.
The objective is to foster constructive dialogue between theory and embodiment, and to highlight how abstract energetic principles manifest in real physical systems across scales.
